Brief Update

We are doing well, but unable to post full blogs due to lack of internet connections. I am posting this update via a cell phone. The team is doing an amazing job, God is at work in and through everyone. We have had 2 full days at the carepoint, it is a place full of life. We have written several blogs each night, so once we get working internet prepare to read several e.tries at once! So many God stories to share, but know your prayers ARE being answered and felt here in Swaziland. A brief highlight today was passing out 300 pairs of shoes. Personally, Jen and I had the amazing privilege of meeting our sponsor child today! Continue to pray for us as we are just beginning to become undone by God.

Love you all - for the team -

Matt

  1. Praying for you all as you continue to develop relationships at the carepoint. I am certain that God will continue to open your hearts to the needs of each person there and pray that you will be receptive to whatever your role is on each particular day. Let the Lord guide your actions and seek Him constantly for your strength! Praying for you continually and sending much love, Liz

  2. I'm so glad to hear you've finally made it to the carepoint! It's amazing to know that you will be interacting with and deepending relationships with many of the people we met a year ago. I'm praying that God will use you to speak into their lives in a profound way!

Jen- Happy Belated Birthday! We're still celebrating it over here in the states- must be the time difference! I'm praying that God will use your joy to spark hope in some of the people there who need it.

KK, Jessica & Afton- Hope you ladies are allowing yourselves to be open to how God wants to use you there! I'm praying that He will use this experience in a unique way that will naturally flow into the transition you're all making into college. He will no doubt use this trip as a jumping point to form your college experience and possibly the rest of your lives!

Carl and Matt - Hope you guys are getting in some good soccer time- I know Gary wishes he could be there playing soccer on a rocky field with the boys! Many of the young men there need a good example of what a godly man looks like- God will use you both mightily in their lives!
